You’ve hit the nail in my head. Been too busy that sometimes I tend to promote some aspects of the services I offer but then again keeping in touch with the clients makes me reminded of it.

I used to work for an employment skills group called Just Enough For Today, based on the idea that people are motivated to work on the strategies they’ve developed to reach their goals. It’s hard sometimes to measure how much information to give people when they’re starting out in a new field (in our case literally a new field). Every now and then we’d revisit what they had mastered and what they might tackle next.

It’s so true – if people aren’t ready they just don’t hear the message.
Of course, we have to remember to keep ourselves and our products in front of them as much as possible without (stress the without, lol) being annoying.
Such a delicate line to balance on!

One of the things I learned as a veteran journalist is if you tell them once or twice, they won’t retain it but telling them the same information in a variety of ways will do the trick. Also, it’s how you disseminate the information.
